VeryMask v1 - Transparent Medical mask

Please note! we are currently working on a video for Version 2 of the mask: In it we've shortened the Headband from 420mm (A3 size) to 261mm (which fits in A4 size). this way there is only a need for A4 size sheets (no A3 is necessary). Currently there is no video so we're attaching the drawing. the changes are really simple. just attach the rubber band from one of the top zip ties to the other. (and, there are 3 rubber bands in v2 instead of 2 rubber bands in this video, v1.) We're also going to use staples to attach the parts instead of zip ties / fasteners, which will make the design even simpler faster and cheaper to make. see "VeryMask drawing v1.5.pdf" for details. ________________ VeryMask - This open source mask was designed to fill the current surge in demand for face shield Masks Key advantages: Multi use. Can be sterilized in hospitals, via industry standard Ozone sterilization* systems Very comfortable to be worn, lightweight, flexible, adjustable size Very simple assembly Very cheap to fabricate Very few and simple parts Mass production or DIY production No special tools or tooling required: For mass production, a printing house should be used to cut plastic sheets by the given design. For home production, a template tool is attached for 3d printer fabrication, which enables very rapid cutting and hole punching. Several options for fastening the parts of the mask together: Either laser cutting for plastic fasteners, simple zip ties assembly, or 3d printing technologies are all suitable. (Fastener part is attached in the 3d model files) *Home 3d printed parts are porous, and as such do not meet the requirements for hospital sterilization systems.
