Surgical Mask Strap ULTRA-Fast -Cheap -Compact!

This is a remix of the **Surgical Mask Strap** by **Suraky**: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4249113 I made some changes to make this Surgical Mask Strap **faster** to print, **cheaper** to make (less filament), and more compact to **fit more** on the print bed. <ul> <li> <p><strong>Made the strap straight</strong> - I wasn't sure how the original strap was to be worn - which side goes up, but looking at pictures online, I saw that they were being worn both ways. Not seeing any need for the curved design, I straightened it. This allowed for tighter alignment on the print bed - fits more straps on the bed.</p> </li> <li> <p><strong>More openings in the strap</strong> - reduces the amount of filament being used and speeds up the printing process.</p> </li> <li> <p><strong>Reduced the height</strong> - the total height reduced from 2.0mm to 1.8mm and the strap height reduced from 1.0mm to 0.9mm. This slight reduction corresponds to the maximum recommended print height of 0.3mm for a 0.4mm nozzle, commonly found on 3D printers. One less layer is printed, reducing the print time a little more.</p> </li> </ul> I made some of the original straps on my Ender 3 printer. I was only able to fit 10 straps on the print bed, mostly because of the curved design. The prints took about 15 minutes per strap and used about 3.7g of filament each. I can fit 15 of my remixed straps on the same print bed, the print takes about 9 minutes each and uses about 2.1g of filament each. I've included the .gcode file for printing 15 straps on my Ender 3. Do not try to use it on any other printer. Instead, slice from the .stl file. <hr> Edit 2020-04-11: I've also added my .gcode for printing 13 straps on my Ender 3. It may be helpful if you are having issues printing the 15 strap version due to printing close to the edge. The print doesn't come any closer than 1/2" or 12mm to the edge of the bed. <hr> Edit 2020-04-23: I was inspired by **jchau57**'s remix at https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4293730 and decided to add a smiley symbol to the mask strap. Printed with the same setup as my original mask strap, this one prints in about 10 minutes per strap. <font color="red">[Note: I have moved the Smiley Mask Strap and its .gcode files; see edit below.]</font> I'm also including my .gcode file for my Ender 3 for 15 straps. And adding a .gcode file for a color change if you want to make dual-colored straps as pictured - the filename is prefixed with "2C-". The printer will pause at the appropriate point and prompt you to change the filament. In addition, I've added a .txt file that has the coordinates that I use to fit 15 straps on my Ender 3. You can use it as a starting place to get the maximum number of straps to fit on your printer. <hr> Edit 2020-05-17: I moved the Smiley Mask Strap, along with its .gcode files, to my other remix here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4372342 I decided I want to keep this the plain ultra-fast strap and have a separate design for straps with added symbols. <hr>
