Epidemic spread of virus
Description
This game demonstrates in a simple way the infectious spread of a virus within a group of six people. It is intended for those who learn by tactile interaction, especially those with limited vision. Labels are in raised lettering and Braille. Players change the number of social interactions among the group and then observe the effect on the number of people subsequently infected. There are three models: Model 1: Hexagonal display of 6 individuals with connecting linkers Model 2: Grid for keeping track of the number of infected individuals Model 3: Three-dimensional bar graph representation of the average increase in the number of infected individuals for a data set. Horizontal bars on the graph correspond to 1, 2, 3, and 4 infected individuals.
