Front Wheel Riser Block
Description
Between the rain and stay-at-home orders, I've been spending a lot more time indoor cycling. My trainer is a wheel-on type (Saris) which lifts the rear wheel off the ground. The front wheel stays on the ground so the bicycle feels like it is constantly going downhill all the time. The amount is small enough that you wouldn't it makes much difference to rider comfort but surprisingly, the difference is noticeable. You can buy a wheel-riser but I tend to be the kind of person who'd rather make something than buy it if I can. So I made one. It should fit tires up to 1 1/4" (32c) diameter tires (but please note, I have only tested it with 1" (25c) and 1 1/8 (28c) tires.)
