Germ-Assassin's Blade
Description
Ever wanted to wear an Assassin's-blade-like device like in your favorite video game but never had a socially acceptable situation to do so? YOUR MOMENT HAS COME, MY FRIEND! No longer are you socially distant and lacking awareness of what you should wear to the grocery store, now you are socially distant and a very responsible human being! Go you! Be the life of the parties you can't attend! Use this to turn faucets on and off, to open single handle doors, to press elevator buttons, and yes, to defeat any legions of germ-based foes that have plagued us since the dawn of civilization. A few very important notes: 1) The files were designed for a child's forearm, and I find that this works best if you scale everything up by 50% prior to printing. 2) The main assembly is meant to be printed as a single piece without supports, pointed upwards. 3) This requires a piece of thread to be tied to your trigger and your middle finger. 3) As for rubber bands, I only had one left in my house, but the design is also mean to accommodate a second one to keep the trigger down. It works fine without it, but it would be better to have it there to prevent unwanted assass.... I mean deployment. Deployment. 4) I'm currently test printing a version that uses less duct tape. The duct tape is what my wife disliked most about this design. I'm good at listening. #notouchchallenge
