Prototype for Nose Bridge for Washable Sewn Face Mask
Description
Started making a die cutter to see if I could quickly cut nose bridges for homemade (mass produced) washable face masks. It worked somewhat, but I need the nose bridge longer and the aluminum pop can material is a little thin. The edges rolled a bit, making it smooth on one side and stronger. That was good. Next version will be longer and possibly include an embossing step to make the thin aluminum stronger for long term use. I wanted to share this now, to get feedback on my idea on the HackThePandemic Challenge
