Outdoor Ropelight Hook for Aluminum Handrail
Description
I needed some method of hanging ropelights around my patio handrail that was easy to take on and off and would be durable. I printed these in white ABS to withstand the winter sub-40°C and +40°C summer temps that we get in Saskatchewan, Canada. 2 years on and they still work great and look great. I spaced them about 2.5ft apart and they hold the ropelight nice and taught. I have included a few different profiles to accommodate a few different size handrails. I recommend you measure yours and then print the most appropriate one. A slight amount of scaling would be acceptable, however the ropelight opening may be compromised. ABS recommended with an infill of 20-30%. If you found this useful, please consider a SMALL DONATION @ https://www.paypal.me/shanekartz to help cover the time of design. Please Post your Makes. I would love to see how they turn out. Thanks, Enjoy!
