Battery plate for Sony NP-F type batteries
Description
An adapter plate for use with Sony NP-F batteries. You will need four 3mm diameter and about 15mm long screws to assemble it, and something to act as contacts for the battery. I took mine out of a dead NP-F charger but you can easily bend steel wire to a similar shape. I used some tiny screws to secure these contacts to the standoffs in the bottom plate, anything that fits will do. The rest of the components can be up to you, but here are the components that I used: [USB buck converter](https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/6-24V-12V-24V-to-5V-3A-CAR-USB-Charger-Module-DC-Buck-step-down-Converter-L/192031856043?_trkparms=aid%3D111001%26algo%3DREC.SEED%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D20160908105057%26meid%3D70529ea55e2e4a0199c2b7ab33ed1d33%26pid%3D100675%26rk%3D1%26rkt%3D15%26mehot%3Dnone%26sd%3D192031856043%26itm%3D192031856043%26pmt%3D0%26noa%3D1%26pg%3D2380057&_trksid=p2380057.c100675.m4236&_trkparms=pageci%3Aa8485f53-7d8c-11ea-9fa8-74dbd180ca17%7Cparentrq%3A73c72fca1710aa12e54208ffffe82da2%7Ciid%3A1) [Boost converter](https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/MT3608-DC-DC-Step-Up-Adjustable-Boost-Converter-Micro-USB-Module-Power-Supply-kk/303254357074?hash=item469b5e4452:m:mB4_PrLMVsTKRtyaspajJ7Q) [DC barrel jack](https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Black-5-5-x-2-1mm-12V-DC-Power-Barrel-Jack-Socket-PCB-Mount-Connector-for-Laptop/223635135504?hash=item3411b15c10:m:mjuaOgJVWkGAfLRB8OvBMHw) [Two mini switches](https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/20pcs-lot-SS12F15G5-3-Pin-2-Position-Mini-Size-SPDT-Slide-Switches-On-Of-Nice-HC/333402817544?_trkparms=ispr%3D1&hash=item4da05b4408:g:luoAAOSwf-xZnsC6&enc=AQAEAAACUBPxNw%2BVj6nta7CKEs3N0qXO1hqkstDSHYNHbfOnNaFHqFLqpFF5RS%2F0OR00otkmfq0qXeDI3zwZXEjplpxtcUFBsi0eqC2IKJYvAoDezqFYburuF8VpQ7he782CddFZoKtq4g0Qx6cujgGpTP7pzSuEkMJLaK1yRmOugVyyMhuCmyRTjM3bsyUAmPKfS7hl4puuxgP79NeavtX5izN3b4n57ANX2n%2B%2FUaNO2r5yY3dE8gW7nqBncbCMALerzVewx%2FCqA4e%2FnCN6vnT2YC3jIsF2LWHMOxRZ4cE3K4A2M8Zus0%2BzcQhoW7kljtMUi2zVW4WEn3tMrOy1mBZATyQ6cPcLDcyl6ni3BVzP9L62LmrKUEDt%2Fy%2F3wogve3ltIisI7hNfPHXndG0WZf7iroif4OqocrzBnw7I%2Fa00awu65%2FzpW%2F8Lq97I9wk2sPBI06eiaDggDgAITgBPLoB8aD%2BjYJfm7NmrZYpriaS%2BFY03KgeHzFeKtqn%2Bvam3fF1QZmtWTIyhNWuNEXsOyn1DJBOJiJbJzrXlju%2B9tVGUNQoE6ISsSqnan1ZgyV83vlTB6C%2BbElb7LYf4wpQ0YzKu0bz6RFwJX%2FPUISHja9UdSBTPSr3eP1oQMaV0WFy0CtK%2FPYrLZiUsJS1gw9WDLxgLCfvErBPi2UzHSeW4xZgTZhqzmxOWJwovO1ovFeA9GsvjAiw9SQkVruwk%2B6qdFrLNSOZhkWkEAssYC76IcQTFMio%2BpFfO9JUinkXk%2FY7Pi8g9UdkeG%2FywlUZPb1PQNGYL2zqxN9o%3D&checksum=33340281754492b820182cfd4b078e48e9524dc47e4e) (mine didn't have "wings" but you can just break them off to fit) Make sure to calibrate your flow rate before printing! If your printer is over-extruding, the fit will be too tight and the battery won't fit. You might not need supports but I recommend them for the top plate (the one that makes contact with the battery) as the small notches need to be very precise. Be sure to remove these after printing, they are tiny and hard to see, you might miss them: there is one under each little "hook" as well as in the groove for the battery contacts. For the cutouts in the bottom half, you probably don't need supports.
