Electric Longboard hot-swappable battery container
Description
This is for a hot-swappable battery container for a DIY electric longboard. The battery container slides in and locks in place with a spring loaded latch to hold it in place. The container holds a 5s2p battery pack and when combined with another one using a serial cable, it makes it into a 10s2p battery. The benefit of using a 5s2p pack is that they are easy to recharge using a standard (inexpensive like an Imax B6) hobby battery charger. It also makes the board lighter because you can store 2 more packs in your backpack and swap them out when your running batteries get low.
