Printrbot Plus 1306 Aluminum Geared v2 Extruder Mount with Cooling Fan
Description
I have an several times over upgraded original Printrbot Plus that's roughly equivalent to the Printrbot Plus v2.1, or 1306. I wanted to add a Geared v2 extruder to the printer but the only mounting kit for it was a laser cut plywood kit that was no longer offered. This is basically just that kit as a 3D printable part, with modifications for the fan mount. The Mounting bracket and the Cooling fan bracket were both printed in PETG at 60% infill with a 0.12 layer height. The Mounting bracket was printed without supports with the the top surface on the print bed. The fan bracket was also printed without supports with the fan mounting surface on the bed. I've been having problems with the extruder fan moving and rattling around a lot, so I also designed a piece that wedges into the extruder bracket and holds the extruder fan in place. There's a recess in the part that fits around the mounting screw in the upper left corner of the fan. This part was printed in Amazon TPU at 0.2mm. https://a360.co/2K2JXio https://a360.co/3emSwT5
