Jam Jar Pulse Jet Concrete Mold
Description
I've been playing around with jam jar pulse jets and thought it might be interesting to combine a jam jar pulse jet with a tesla valve. The uploaded files are different 3d printable molds you can use to cast a plaster or concrete model for testing. The design combines a reynst jam jar with the circular tesla valve by Bret. He did a nice job on the circular tesla valve design. For fuel pour 5 to 10 ml of methanol or heat de-icer into the bottom and light. Short video showing steps to make a functional jam jar pulse jet from a 3d print. <iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/0pBrggAp6HQ" frameborder="0" allow="accelerometer; autoplay; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture" allowfullscreen></iframe> ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Changes 4/19 ver_4 - updated the jam jar to a design from later reynst geometry 4/17 ver_3 - changed tesla valve intake runners to round pipe 4/16 ver_2 - reduced the intake area to match the exhaust nozle area - print with exaust nozzle on build plate - no mold cover. glue to bottom of pringles can or something and fill to top of model with concrete 4/15 ver _1 - Increased the distance between the mold cover and the jam jar for a thicker shell. - Added radius to the air intake to make mold stronger when peeling off the build plate ------------------------------------------------------ If you enjoyed this project make sure to check out my griggs cavitation video.
