Decathlon Subea Easybreath adaptors for medical use.

Decathlon Subea Easybreath adaptors for medical use.

Description

Hi, here are my version of Decathlon Subea Easybreath mask adaptors. - Single 22F outlet is meant for medical workers PPE. see below as its use is by now far from recommanded, do not use it without proper testing. - The dual inlet (22M), outlet (22F) is intended for patient care in reanimation units. I've searched a lot for designs that comply with all my requirements : - Tough - "Easy to print fast" - No fancy logos - Leakproof when PROPERLY printed AND post-processed I've been asked from hospital workers to work on this thing. This design is inspired by the set of adapters found here : https://www.prusaprinters.org/prints/27214-decathlon-face-mask-adapters The problem being that current versions of it (until v1.3) do not fit properly to my Easybreath and are leaky... So I redesigned it from scratch, but accordingly to the excellent work done in Vincent Groenhuis design. He is currently working on an update of his design, so feel free to check out his work **BIG & HUGE F#&@%£G DISCLAIMER :** These items are for a medical use only and do not have been approved for medical use... I've been running some tests and leaktighness can be tricky to obtain, as it requires proper adjustements. For instance, use of the single entry version for medical personnal is not really advised as some studies showed that it is less efficient than any FP2 mask, please refer to : https://antwerpdesignfactory.be/decathlon.html#Methods *The Decathlon Easybreath snorkeling mask should not be used as a makeshift replacement for FFP2 masks.* Ressources and instruction for medical use of the 2 way-valve are here : https://sites.google.com/view/bestversuscovid19-fr/home Each of my part are tested on an exemplary of Easybreath mask. If you can't test it, please don't print it. Please only deal with this if you have enough 3D printing experience, and can handle 3D design modification if required. **Remember that providing bad parts to medical teams is equivalent to expose them directly to coronavirus.** Each printed part should be tested on real medical material. OK with that? Please proceed to the print settings and post-processing part for FDM printers... People with better and more expensive equipment, well... Do your stuff!
