It fits on the mod base already available. * added some long range suitable mounts : front CRSF antenna holder, long vista antenna mount, BN220 gps holder. *modified the NORMAL top plate (HD and Nano) to have dual strap passes. The rear one is 16mm long for people who want to use 2 straps on the top plate. file version reads v1-1. * added the CARGO plates (dual 20x20) * Now arm options are 3, 4 and 5 inch. The 5 inch is done with BrotherHobby VY2004 and FpvCycle 2203 motors in mind. The MOD-L is a modular frame with separate 3", 4" and 5" arms. The current version is intended to build an ultralight HD quad using a Caddx Vista or Tarsier and alikes and an AIO Whoop FC. There are two versions. A ShortBack and a "Normal" one (slightly longer). <iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/3VvZwyUD_Zo" frameborder="0" allow="accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture" allowfullscreen></iframe> <iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/0NwNfiFzOTY" frameborder="0" allow="accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture" allowfullscreen></iframe> The Insta360go used here is made of the "mount base" provided here and the camera case that you can find on this thing page : https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4491246 the weight of the frame (carbon only) are 25g (3"), 27g (4"), 30g (4" heavy), 37g (5"), 45g (5" heavy) ## Specifications - 3, 4 or 5 inch squishX layout - 16x16, 20x20 and 26x26 FC mount ( only the whoop mount is functional on a HD setup) - 9mm and 12mm motor mount (12 only on the 5") - 20x20 mount on the top plate as well ## Pick your version The MOD-L platform is modular, you can pick the following versions. A full frame is made with 4 arms, a bottom plate, a top plate and a cross plate. Please read the details below for details. Arms (4 arms) : * 3" slim * 4" slim * 4" beef (a more robust & heavy version) * 5" slim * 4" beef (a more robust & heavy version) Frame plates (1 bottom & 1 top plates) : * HD (for DJI Vista, Tarsier, Hybrid) * Nano (for DJI Nebula or Nano Analogic cams) note : the bottom plate is designed to use 6 x BETAFPV M2 Clamp nuts (pressnuts). You can buy a bag of those for a few bucks on Amazon or Betafpv.com directly. The plates come in several variants : * NORMAL : roomy in the front and in the back * SHORTBACK : shorter back making the frame lighter. * NANO : narrow front section for 14x14 nano size cams. same length as the normal version * CARGO : an extra long version with dual 20x20 mount to allow one to use a 16x16 or 20x20 stack and put the vista in the rear. The bottom reinforcement plate (cross plate) is the same for all version. The new one allows easy access to all the stack screws and is designed to be cut along the weave to be stiffer (90° elements). ## Extra hardware needed : You'll need the following extra gear : * 6 x M2 23mm standoffs (or 25mm) for the HD cam. The nano version can use 14mm standoffs for a low profile setup * M2 steel or titanium screws (12 M2 6mm for the standoffs, the 6 M2 needed for the arms attachement depend on the arm thicknesses) * M2 pressnuts (the ones from Betafpv, M2 Clamp Nuts are perfect for this build) ## How to get this frame cut in carbon fiber ### Armattan productions * [MOD-L 3" SB on Armattan Productions](https://armattanproductions.com/pages/kit_detail/2737) * [MOD-L 4" SB on Armattan Productions](https://armattanproductions.com/pages/kit_detail/2738) Use the DXF files and get it cut following your specs at any CNC service you like.
