Bondtech Prusa 2.5 V6 to Bondtech 2.5S Mosquito

Description

I have a Bondtech hotend upgrade for my Prusa i3 mk 2.5 v6 and wanted to upgrade to a Mosquito hotend. The only problem is Bondtech (to my knowledge) doesn't sell the plastic parts only. I don't need the metal or electronic parts. https://www.bondtech.se/en/product/prusa-i3-mk3s-mosquito-extruder-upgrade/ Bondtech has posted (most) of their .STEP and .STL files on github but hasn't pulled everything from the .STEP files. https://github.com/BondtechAB/Bondtech_Prusa_i3/tree/master/CAD-Files The parts posted here are pulled from the .STEP file along with the parts from Prusa. https://www.prusa3d.com/prusa-i3-printable-parts/ I've saved you the trouble of figuring out the mish-mash of parts needed to be printed and pulling them from the .STEP files. *****************************ANOTHER THING TO NOTE************************************ https://www.tappex.co.uk/products/brass-threaded-inserts/multisert The Bondtech Prusa Housings include threaded inserts because of the printing method that they employed to print their plastic parts (Selective Laser Sintering / Powder Bed Fusion) BUT FDM is not limited by this. For that reason, and because I didn't want to order then wait for threaded inserts, I've included GCODE files that utilize a pause feature to allow for an M3 square nut in place of the threaded inserts. The print pauses four times for the Front housing: 1. After printing layer 1 (1* 0.20mm = 0.20mm) because of the fan mount feature (hexagon). It is important that this feature stick to the bed or else it's not worth continuing the print. 2. After the completion of layer 9 (9* 0.20mm = 1.8mm) to ensure that an important mounting feature formed correctly. The print should be aborted and retried if this feature did not form. 3. After completion of layer 23 (23* 0.20mm = 4.60mm) to add the square nut to the Pinda probe. 4. After completion of layer 24 (24* 0.20mm = 4.80mm) to add the square nut to where the blower fan holder will mount. The print pauses thrice for the rear housing: 1. After completion of layer 23 (23* 0.20mm = 4.60mm) to allow a square nut to be added. 2. After completion of layer 48 (48* 0.20mm = 9.60mm) to allow a square nut to be added. 3. After completion of layer 116 (116* 0.20mm = 23.20mm) to allow a square nut to be added. ---->>>>See pause / resume screenshots for more details.<<<<---- The file includes some supports (not a full auto-generated set of supports). The GCODE file is 20% fill, GRID infill pattern, with a 0.2mm Layer Height. The temperature is set for PET at 250C hotend, 95C for print bed. ********************************************************************************************** My prints are in progress, will post pictures with successful assembly.
