Compact Picatinny Handle Rail for M4A1
Description
This is a picatinny rail that I designed for my Lancer Tactical M4A1 Classic Gen 2. I picked the AEG up from the flea market for a great price, and since we are all 'sheltering in place' due to COVID-19, I decided now is the time to mod out the looks a bit. I removed the front iron sight from my rifle for this mod I was doing, but I decided to keep the handle, as I don't see too many of them around. I created a full sized rail for the handle first, but it felt too tall. I redesigned this compact rail to perfectly fit my scope, but not look too large. It lines up with the mounting hole in the rail and fits the grooves super snug so it wont wiggle. Thanks for taking a look!
