SmoothQ Gimbal + Sony RX100(m5)
Description
This is Yet Another One adapter allowing to mount Sony RX100m5 camera on the SmoothQ gimbal. The LCD is not accessible (anyway using it with external display and remote). Tried to design it as tunable as possble. To assemble you need to print 4 (or 5) parts plus: 1) 3x M3x12 screws 2) 3x M3 washers 3) 3x M3 selflocking nuts 4) 1x M5x33 bolt 5) 2x M5 washers 6) 3x M5 selflocking nuts 7) 3...4 big size washers to assemble the balancing weight (me used 3x OD=36.6mm ID=13.1mm H=3.1mm, each 21.5g) - the weight holders are designed to fit 4x3.1mm=12.4 total thikness so if 4 washers are too much use 3 + 1 printed washer. 8) Some part to fix RX100 to the assembly (used some that already had) To fine tune you have to assemble all parts, mount RX100, power it ON (to extend the lens) and move all parts to get nice balance. Printed ABS, 0.4mm nozzle, 0.2 mm layer, 4 top-bottom layers, 2 shells, 50% infill. Verdict: the load is too high for that gimbal leading to some resonance/noise, but can be used. PS Opened for 3D design cooperation.
