Description
Most compact hotend and part cooling system for Ender 3 / 3 Pro / 5 / CR-10 and other Creality compatible printers. Weights less than original metal housing, around 40 grams. Designed to reduce unnecessary cooling of heatblock and printed part by 4010 heatsink fan. It does not reduce the air flow generated by both fans as most of the designs do resulting in increased noise generated by attached fans. Designed for **5015** 24V blower and stock **4010** heatsink fan. It's a direct swap for stock metal housing. UPDATES: 2020/05/29 - New version v1.1. Improved cooling of heatbreak. Removed back bracket. Minor changes to improve printing without supports. Print settings: - filament: **PETG** (don't use PLA) - layer height: 0.2 - line width: **0.46** - infill: 20% - supports: **NO** **After printing cut out the bridge inside air channel (see photo).** Hardware: - Bolt M3x6 x1 (stock one) - screw from the front - Bolt M3x8 x1 or M3x10 x1 + nut M3 x1 - screw from the back - Bolt M3x8 x4 or M3x10 x4 - to mount front fan - Bolt M3x14 x4 - to mount fan guard (optional) Check out my other designs: https://www.thingiverse.com/DaVinci2000/designs
