XYZ Davinci Z-Axis RAMPS optical endstop bracket
Description
After changing out the stock XYZ (w/ repetier) for a Duet Wifi v4, I wasn't able to figure out the wiring for the stock Z axiz endstop. Unfortunately, the stock Z-Axis bracket doesn't fit the RAMPS style optical endstops. This bracket is designed to allow you to slot a RAMPS style optical endstop in place and then using hotmelt glue etc. lock it down into place so it can't move. The bracket itself screws into the printer frame using the same holes as the original bracket did. I no longer use the original heat bed, so I have an element of adjustment in the bed adjusters for setting the nozzle-bed distance. The back of the bracket is also designed so that it clears the rear Y-Axis cross bar. If you are using the stock bed, you may have to change the Z axis flag to be higher (tape works well for this) so that it breaks the beam of the Home sensor earlier, preventing the bed from crashing into the extruder nozzle(s). The model is designed to be printed with the screw/top mounting surface on the bed, this means you will be able to print it without supports. I printed mine in PETG, however PLA or ABS should work fine also. This should theoretically fit the XYZ Davinci 1.0/1.0a/2.0/2.0a style printers. Have a look at the photos and if yours looks like the photos, it should fit.
