PTFE filament spool bearing ender3

PTFE filament spool bearing ender3

Description

Hi! My ender 3 seemed to have some problems with pulling filament from big spool. Not willing to wait for bearing from shop I've created simple bearing that uses 4mm PTFE pipe as a sliding component. Fits any spool with 50mm inner diameter and filament hub with 30mm diameter. Parts needed: - any (PLA, PETG, ABS) filament for prints - small rubber band (or string, or wire) - PTFE pipe 4mm outside diamater - 106.8mm per bearing Printing: - print 4 identical bearing parts - print 2 identical stopper parts Assemble: For each part of bearing you need 2 printed halves and about 106mm of PTFE pipe. The bearing has to be assebled directly on the hub - putting PTFE pipe into the groove. Then push whole bearing half into the spool. Do the same for second side. The rim of the bearing half goes inside. The last step is to assemble the stopper at free end of the hub to stop bearings from traveling too far to the edge.
