Wreck Raiders Base Game Insert
Description
In my house we love playing the game Wreck Raiders, but there are a lot of little bits in bags that can make the setup and tear down lengthy. I wanted to design an insert that would get it to/off the table faster and also allow me to store it vertically on my shelf. The design will work best with magnets. I used 3mmx2mm magnets for all of the boxes except for the Exhibit Card box, and the Aquarium Box. For those two I personally used 5mmx2mm magnets for some extra strength. Understanding that people may not want to buy 100+ 5x2 magnets when they only need 20, I've included files to accomodate 3x2 in those boxes, but I have not tested the strength of those. I've included pictures of how it all should fit. It is important to note that the Treasure token boxes and dice box must sit together as they are slightly shorter than the others to accomodate the small shell board on top. The shell trays can be stacked in any order magnetically as long as you pay attention to the polarity and make them all the same. I do not not have any of the expansions so I do not know if they will fit in the box as well. There is definitely room in the dice box to accommodate up to 2 more dice of the same size, and there is a some clearance left that should have room for any boards that might come with the expansions without raising the box lid too much. My Exhibit cards are sleeved in KMC Perfect Fit Sleeves, so I can speak to those fitting, but have not tested others. The internal dimensions of the card box are 93x66x29.5mm. I wanted to make sure that there was enough space to take things out of the box, so I've included an optional spacer to fill that void if you want to. Hope you all find it useful! It may not be the most filament saving design, but it serves the function i set out to design!
