Gear Bearing - Magic 8 Ball

A remix of the original planetary gear toy: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:53451 Added words to the gears to make it into a spinner that can answer questions with: "yes", "no", "maybe (??)". The scad file is customizable. You can modify the text on the spinner. I've included an example 12-sided die spinner as well to demonstrate. There is a limit to the size of the lettering, based on the size of your print nozzle. Using a .4mm nozzle the minimum font size seems to be 4.8. Below that and the letters will not print completely. I recommend you look closely at the gcode preview in your slicer before attempting to use a font size less than 4.8. You will need the Write.scad include file to render the scad object, posted here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:16193
