Paint Rack from Old Filament Spool
Description
This is my design to recycle an old spool of PLA (Anycubic cithout any big hole) To organize my paints. I have some cytadel/Tamya Paint (diameter 33-35mm) that are short enough to fit inside the spool wheel. Than i have a lot of Vallejo color so i made an entire top roof for them, with 3 circles of paint (in the inner i will put the washes). In the very center circle i create some holes for brushes. You will find also a base with space for a bearing ring (the 20? mm size for fidget spinner). What you need to print: - Vallejo Floor: You can print it in 3 different Way: a) 4x "Quarter_Spool_Vallejo.stl", then glue togheter using the alignement teeth) b) 1x "Spool_Vallejo.stl", is a single piece so is only usable for top floor (or if you disassemble the spool). Min bed size 200x200mm c) 1x "Spool_Vallejo_13mm.stl", is as the previous one, but if it is on top floor, reduce the instability of vallejo paintings when rotating. Min bed size 200x200mm - Citadel/Tamiya Floor: You can print it in 2 different Way: a) 4x "Quarter_Spool_Citadel-Tamiya.stl", then glue togheter using the alignement teeth). NOTE: you have to mirror 2 of the 4 pieces since are not symmetric. b) 1x "Spool_Citadel-Tamiya.stl"is a single piece so is only usable for top floor (or if you disassemble the spool). Min bed size 200x200mm - Top Floor center: To fill the center top hole you can print the "Center_Spool_Brush_v2.stl" tha adds 8 vallejo slots plus some brush slots (8mm, 5mm and 1x 12mm inner) - To make the spool rotate you have to print a single time the two pieces that follows and join them with a bearing (the one for fidget spinner) "Spool_Base_Fix.stl" "Spool_Base_Rot_V2.stl"
