Vex Rise Above Octogon Piece
Description
The octogon piece for the new Rise Above game for 2020-2021. Just converted the step file to an stl. The piece numbers were taken from the full field CAD STEP files, the real numbers are in the build instructions. The four STLs: * Full - the full piece, untouched * Half - just the upper half so that if you want, you can print 2 and super glue together * FlatSnapHoleDepth - a half with the flat bottom extended to the snap hole depth (4.57mm), so can print on FDM and you don't have to print 2 halves, basically still the same except one side doesn't have the ribs/walls whatever they are called. * FlatSnapHoleDepthV2 - Snap hole depth of 4.5 instead of 4.57 to VEX specs. The standoffs fit better for me when printing at 0.2mm height. Print 3 pieces and make sure the end pieces are the "good" ribbed sides facing out when you piece them together. Also, I think the standoffs are newer longer standoffs as per build instructions. I didn't have any of those sizes with the standard standoff pack. The kids connected (I don't know the exact name so just counting the segments) the 12 segmented with a 2 segmented and that equaled the same length as 16 segments as in the build instructions.
