Team PANDA [Zurich, Switzerland]: We propose a **partly 3D printed, transparent enclosure for a commercial PEEP valve** with 30 mm female or 22mm male connection which can be integrated into a tube system with 22 mm conical connections (anaesthetic/respiratory equipment). These inline valves are needed in differential multiventilation setups for treating covid19. See this link for more information on differential multiventilation: https://www.differentialmultivent.org **This is NOT a medically approved device and is not intended for medical use.** To get it tight, an O-Ring ID 58 mm x D 3 mm or smaller is needed. Neither the bottle nor the PEEP valve are designed by Team PANDA and part of this thing. For other bottles, please remix the design using the included STEP-file. The tolerances of the 22 mm connectors must match each other and these are different for most 3D printers. If it doesn’t fit, scale it in Cura in X,Y-direction only, in small increments and write down your adjustments for further printing. To prevent the bottle from slipping over the O-ring due to overpressure, the bottom rim can be heated and will bend inwards. If the valve is not turnable with the bottle, heat the contact area to get a tight fit or use tape on the valve cap to increase friction. **MATERIAL** We used PLA with a 0.4 mm nozzle for all parts.
