Speedplay Pedal Dust Cap
Description
Speedplay make great racing pedals. Unfortunately they have just been bought by Wahoo. The first thing Wahoo have done is discontinued the Speedplay maintenance kit. The bearing dust cover has a tendency to get forced out if you over do the grease. The dust cover is only available as part of the maintenance kit so it would seem they are no longer obtainable. I've drawn up a model which is a direct replacement. As an added bonus you can print it in a colour to match your bike. The dust cover is also the way to get the grease into the bearings. You remove the small screw and inject the grease. Chances are if you have lost the cover you have lost the screw. These are 3mm counter sunk self tapping screws. They are 4mm long without a point. I have only been able to find 6mm long ones on Amazon but a file soon shortens them and removes the point.
