Qidi X-Maker Spool Holder Upgrade
Description
I was disappointed with Qidi's "baggage handle" spool holder, as it introduces a lot of friction which leads to inconsistent extrusion, especially with flexibles. A quick trip to Tinkercad, and we have a solution! It takes two (total) of 608-sized ball bearings; I've used 608-2RS. Tolerances are extremely tight, so you may want to print the inner part first, check if your BB fits, and scale accordingly. I printed mine at 102%, just to compensate for ABS shrinkage. No supports needed.
