Vader Inspired COVID Mask
Description
I decided to create this as the COVID mask I was using that was the three parts I didn't like much. The front part to change the filter would pop off sometimes. I also wanted it to look 20% cooler and not be so plain in the front. The grill is purely for ascetic. So I combined the front part, created more of a grid to hold the filter in better. To change the filter you must go from the inside. I used a part from this design for that. https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4273888 I took a file to the little bumps to hold it in so it comes out easier, the first time was difficult since you have to use the little handle and it requires a lot of force. I positioned the inside grid with handle on the top toward the nose, for better room and leverage. WARNING, please file a little bit down on the bumps, if not you might risk getting that grill stuck in the mask and make it really difficult or impossible to get it out. Not sure how it will hold up for multiple changes. The grill for the front and bolts was taken from this design: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4240669 I remixed it some with cutting a notch at the bottom to provide better air flow to the filter, I thought it might be blocking too much if not. The bolts are a little bit of a tight fit, I had to push them in some while carefully twisting but I got them in. I printed on Ender 3 pro 20% infill for most of it, 100% for the bolts on a spiral pattern to help PLA print, as PETG sometimes has issues for me. Dynamic quality of .16mm I might alter it later, but feel free to give it a print or remix it.
