I try to say something funny in each file, but I'm not going to this time. This really matters to me, and I'd like to explain why. I started playing Advanced Dungeons and Dragons way back in 1981. I was in Jr High, and the "lonely kid." D&D became my salvation, the place I could go to be with other outsiders. It helped me to make friends, and not be so alone any longer. Over the decades I've run countless games, had countless laughs, rolled countless dice and ate countless pizzas. It became a real joy in my life. When I heard that Gary died on March 4th, 2008, I wept like a baby. It seemed like a part of me had died as well. It didn't seem like the sun shone as brightly, the sky wasn't as blue and my dice didn't roll as well. I was devastated. Fast forward to last week. Someone on one of my D&D fan groups posted an image of Gary's memorial, and I mused about the idea of making it into a file people could print up and hang. I then went about re-creating it in 3D, and here it is. This is a gift to the memory of Gary, and it goes out to every single player out there. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES MAY IT BE SOLD! It is also NOT allowed on ANY SITE other than Thingiverse. Seriously people, don't. Just don't. I'm asking this of you in remembrance of this awesome man, and if D&D means anything at all to you you'll comply with my wishes. If not then may every one of your rolls forever be fumbles.
