Side of Hand Double-Hook
Description
This is an accessory that is meant to be warn on the wrist, with the side of your hand fitting in the groove. The far end away from the hooks has at least 3 ways of securing to your wrist: elastics in the outer grooves, a band (or velcro strip), run through the groove, and also holes for low-tech tying with string. The hooks at the front are meant to push and, pull open doors or other objects, carry bags, etc. The nub at the tip can be used to put on a rubber cap to make pushing more humane, or you can place a nub such as those used in touch-screen styli in order to use touch-screen devices. The 2 protrusions near the hooks are meant for your pinkies. They can provide extra leverage when pushing down or up, and are grooved for grasping when pulling things with the hooks. The tool is meant to be ambidextrous, although I should have started the model with lines of symmetry to be fair (sorry lefthanders I will work on another symmetrical model) My next version will also be more considerate of 3D printing, I got carried away with making this thing look sleek which usually does not translate well when 3D printing at home. If you happen to 3D print it, please let me know your thoughts and feedback! Thanks for reading!
