Description
PAPR Powered Air purifying Respirator. Pushes clean air into a 3m mask or adapted snorkel mask. This utilizes a 12v Fan and 4x roomba 700 Hepa filters. I added a second version with belt clips. For extended use these are way more comfortable than standard respirators. The PAPR has many advantages. Easier to breath as the air is pushed instead of pulled through the filter for each breath. It purges CO2 preventing headaches and fatigue. Also prevents glasses or shields from fogging. The array of 4 hepa filters aids in high air flow. Very inexpensive to build (around $15)
