Print2Help 3D Printed Face Shield Visor for COVID 19
Description
Our own design of 3D printed head band produced by www.print2help.com which we have manufactured 1700 of for our local area (Glasgow and Ayrshire). As with all 3D printed face shields, these are not CE compliant, please ensure that any users are fully aware of this and that they should not replace official PPE if available. We are currently working with our NHS contacts for 'Fit for purpose' testing and to try and obtain a level of approval for use in our area. However this does not mean they are suitable for use by all so please check with your local authorities. Features: - Standard A4 acetate / clear sheet with UK 4 hole punch attachment for quick and secure attachment - Easily assembled / disassembled to allow for cleaning - Optimised form / material use for printing (~17g and can be printed in 30min with a 0.6mm nozzle) - No voids / hole features for improved infection control (based on dialogue with NHS infection control contacts) - 'T-Bar' style head band attachment allows for use of nylon elastic but also can be used with single use perforated tourniquet for improved infection control Please remember to be safe, and if in doubt, don't use these. Certified PPE should be used where possible, these are only provided as an emergency where others are not available.
