Vertical Painting Palette
Description
I wanted to buy my painter friend a "Parallel Palette," but it seems they went out of business or something, as I cannot find anything but an old kickstarter and a website that's been 404'd. So I made one to print. The purpose of this palette is so that your paints are up next to you so you don't have to keep looking away from the canvas. The middle section is for a 6"x8" piece of removable glass for mixing paints, and the top sections are for the actual paints. I suggest applying XTC or some kind of epoxy to the paint section so it's not only waterproof, but is easy to clean. I've also included a mount for the palette that will work with any generic camera tripod with quick release. See photos for how it's epoxied together. I attached the mount to the palette with command strips, so it's easy to take apart for travel or storage. Happy painting!
