HAM-Radio 144/440Mhz X-Yagi elementmount for fishing-rod
Description
Inspired by the projekt SatNogs I create an rotorsystem with 2 cross-yagis for 2m and 70cm using HAM-Radio-satelites. For portable use and easy transport I mount one direction tied and on level for spinn in direction - each direction in diffrent color. The boom of the yagis are made from glasfiber fishingpoles (6m long). I only use the 2nd and 3rd elements of the fishing-pole for the yagis - the two biggist ones are for the rotor boom. You can use other boom material as well and for the elements I prefeer 3.2mm alloy-welding-rods - for the driven elements I used 4mm brasstube (good to solder). Length of the yagis - 2m (6-element for 2m - 10-elements for 70cm) Wight 2m - below 600g and 70cm - below 500g Many thanks to Rainer - DL3JRA, for the CAD-work.
