3 in 1 out Hotend mount
Description
This is a simple Hotend mount I designed for the XCR3D 3 in 1 out hotend. Based on drawings I've reviewed for the Bigtreetech 3 in 1 out hotend - the mounting holes and other dimensions appear to be the same. The x-axis carriage is based on similar designs on Thingiverse but I created this one to shift the hotend 5mm off center towards the left. I did this to create more room for a purge wall on the left side of my printer. I have two files for the print cooling fan: one works with the dial indicator from Harbor Freight for bed leveling, the second does not have those additional features. I have good cooling results with the fan speed at 50%. I am using this setup on a Geeetech A20M but it likely would work with other printers with a similar design. The hotend shown is a switching hotend. This means one two of the filaments have to be parked out of the throat so that the third filament can print. I have been using Prusaslicer and I've included pictures of my configuration that is producing good results. I'm currently using a purge tower as I haven't quite perfected the tool change script for a purge wall with a switching hotend. This design uses this printed circuit board mount for the hotend control borad. https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3195894
