ANET E12 Direct Drive, V6, BLTouch, MGN12H X-Carriage

Description

I got tired from my original bowden extruder and hot end of the E12 after getting clogged time after time, so I decided to upgrade to direct drive and V6 hot end! Since I already had the MGN12 linear rail installed, I've created this X-Carriage to support the stepper motor and new hot end. Plus, I decided I want to upgrade to auto bed leveling (FINALLY!), so I integrated a BLTouch mount. Stepper motor: 1. You will need to extend the stepper cable by approx. 400mm. 2. You will need to invert extruder stepper direction (via flipping wires with the extension cable, or via software. I installed TH3D for the BLTouch anyway, so I flipped it there. 3. Use 3x M3x25 bolts to install the stepper and extruder. M3x30 might work as well. There are 2 ways of mounting the belts: 1. over the outer side, held by zip ties. 2. using the hole, bend belt on itself and insert M3x15 bolt. install tensioner to secure belts and make the belts more parallel. Hot end: 1. Use 2x M4x20 bolts to fasten the V6 hotend. Insert the nuts before installing on the MGN12H. 2. Use short PTFE tube from the hotend to the extruder. Tensioner bolts are 3x M4x20. Insert the nuts before installing on the MGN12H. BLTouch: 8.13mm offset from nozzle. I did had to adjust a bit via the software. Values for nozzle-probe offset: X+35, Y+5. Don't forget to use the cable support over the BLTouch to remove strain from the components. Please make sure you have sufficient cable length for all the components BEFORE starting your prints. You will need to extend some of them.
