VERSION 2.1 UPDATE (05/05/2021 - Added STL specific file for Subaru Filter: 15208AA12A - Added STL specific file for Mazda Filter: N3R1 14 302 VERSION 2 UPDATE (03/28/2021) - Adjusted STL Z orientation - Adjusted flats for tighter fit - Added threads for use as funnel in oil fill tube - Reduced height to reduce print time - I tried to incorporate square opening to use with ratchet was unsuccessful. Too loose of a press fit and the funnel just slips on the filter flats. Too tight and the material at the flats begins to crack. This is a no mess oil filter funnel to be using during normal maintenance oil changes on the Subaru EJ series motor. This is designed to fit authentic Subaru oil filters (specifically part number: 15208AA12A). I was tired of getting covered in oil when removing the oil filter on my STI due to it being the vertical orientation. Print Settings: Filament: Atomic CF PTEG Infill: 100% Layer Height: 0.25mm Nozzle: 0.4mm NozzleX No Supports Operation Instructions: 1. First break the oil filter loose. You may be able to slip the funnel over to gain more leverage but really if the oil filter was hand tight during the last change, it should break free without a significant amount of force. 2. Push funnel up onto the oil filter and loosen until oil begins to drain. Ensure a container to catch the excess oil is placed under the funnel exit. The design is to "press-fit" over the oil filter so it will stay in place while the excess oil drains. 3. Once the oil has stopped draining, completely unscrew the oil filter and remove. 4. Clean excess oil off funnel and thread into oil fill tube to use as a funnel when filling with new oil. 5. Enjoy no mess!
