N95 Comfort kit
Description
Comfort kit - provides comfort and adjustability for long N95 mask usage. Allows for use of up to 13mm straps ( I used Goody hairbands with rubber no-slip grip). Print with no supports. Print Female side release clips stand upright using a brim. -- Mask - Carefully remove staples and elastic from N95 Mask - Use bar with holes as a template for where to punch holes in mask. - Use standard 6mm hole punch to punch holes in mask - insert clips with posts from the back side of the mask. - Snap bar with holes across the two post and snap into place. -- Straps - Thread 13mm wide elastic through the female side-release clips - Snap onto clips installed on mask - Adjust for personal comfort - Secure loose strap ends You can use more elastic or velcro. Now you can wear your mask in comfort! The wide bands won't dig into your skin and now you can adjust how tight the mask fits to your face. You can either just leave it always clipped and pull the mask on/off, or you can clip/unclip the side release buckles. The straps and clips are also reusable and transferable to a new N95 once your mask is no longer serviceable. Just snap off the bar, remove the clips and repeat the above install process.
