Scout Law Legos

Scout Law Legos

Description

This is the set of legos for the Scout Law with the numbers on the side. This is excellent for cub scouts or those learning the Scout Law for the first time. This is a good gift/award for cub scouts getting their first awards/badges in order to reinforce learning of the Scout Law. It has the order as a number on the sides, with the words on the front and back. It can be printed in a single color, or try to theme the word to different colors depending on the available filament that you have. These were made with an odd number of columns on the legos in order to have a center among then all. The idea also came from https://cubscoutideas.com/8219/scout-oath-and-law-legos/ where they had put labels on legos with the Scout Law. This is a remix from https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3867358 that allows for customization of legos for printing. Printing Recommendations (from original) I printed on an Ender 3 with the extra setting that was suggested in the the original: (I didn't change this one, but did have a little bit of elephants foot) If a brick will be connected to other bricks you don't want it to have an elephant's foot. I usually have the initial layer horizontal expansion parameter in Cura set to -0.2 mm to prevent elephant's feet, but for the LEGO bricks with a default tolerance of 0.5 mm this must be reduced to -0.14 in order for the under-tubes to be printed on the first layer. (I did use this setting) For the best looking brick, you'll want the top surface of the brick part of the model to be a single continuous print from one corner to the other instead of going around the areas where the studs will be added in later layers. To accomplish this in Cura, set the Skin Expand Distance to 2.2.
