Ring Doorbell cover with solar
Description
Redesign of the Ring Doorbell Cover to inlude a LM2596 buck converter for automatic charging via solar. Recommend the solar panel be placed in the shade if you have a large panel. My panel outputs 5.2 V at 0.15 A in the shade and 2.6 A in the sun, post buck convereter. Soldered an ad hoc right angle microusb and had to use hot glue to provide support. Also recommend sealing the wire holes on the cover with hot glue once everything is confirmed working.
