Horizontal Extrusion Mounted Tool Holder, Ender 3/5/Plus, CR-10S Pro, etc.
Description
PARTS: * 1 each - 3D Print of This Model * 2 each - M3 x 10mm Long Bolts * 2 each - T20 x M3 T Nut (AKA: 20mm T Nut or 2020 T Nuts) This is a remix of Phio79's Tool Holder. His design is excellent, compact, and quick to print. I wanted to move the hook to the front face so now this holder is compatible with the whole Ender 2/3/5/5 Plus and CR-10/S/S Pro and any other printer that uses a standard 20mm T Slot Extrusion profile (2020, 2040, etc). The original, with the hook on the side, doesn't work with printers that have belt hardware there. It's also a lot longer to add more hooks for calipers, added some 6mm / M6 spare nozzle or other tool holes, and added some slots for Push-Fit Connector C-Clips, small files, or other thin tools. I also opened up the holes a little bit to allow more room for the hex keys, the screw driver, and the scraper. In Cura, you can use Horizontal Hole Expansion to make them bigger or smaller, too if you need to adjust the size of the holes. I also added a couple of screw holes at the top for T20 Nuts and 10mm long M3 bolts if you wish to bolt it down to the frame. The hooks should hold it in place, but I noticed mine was moving if I wasn't being gentle enough. Only one nut and screw is necessary to hold it down, but I included two because I could. Phio79's version is really elegantly simple. My variation might be a bit much for some It was remixed in TinkerCAD.
