Customizable-text Slip-on Kwikset Key Cover
Description
Key handle cover with customizable text for Kwikset key. Key just slips into the cover and is held in place by friction (no glue or snapping-together or putting the key on the bed while printing). The customizable text string and filament color may be helpful for telling one key from another. OpenSCAD source file included if you want to customize the text string/etc. I wrote this from scratch but giving credit to Anon576 https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2353300 for the inspiration. Use a Brim when printing to keep it standing on edge (printing flat would require a larger bridging span). Possibly obvious: Push key in completely or the cover can prevent the key from being fully inserted into the lock. (5/8/20: Updated measurements and added removable support to stop it from tipping over while printing)
