Base for Kent Double Morse Paddle

Base for Kent Double Morse Paddle

Description

My Kent Double Paddle had a habit of sliding around the desk on the existing rubber feet. Also I didn't like the give in the rubber feet. So I designed this plate so that there is a flat surface on the bottom of the key. It attaches with the M3 screws from the rubber feet. If you print in TPU it might be sticky enough, however I also printed the associated thin Mat which can be stuck down to the surface with double sided tape and provides a rough surface for the plate to sit on. Alternatively stick a sheet of thin rubber to the plate. In that case, it should be possible to print it in PLA. The cutouts were made for my own arrangement where I have another 3.5mm socket to plug in a computer keyer or a straight key - my Elecraft K2 can detect this with the aid of some diodes which are in the black heatshrink.
