Treblab Z2 earphone attachment repair
Description
I accidentally dropped my headphones onto the floor and the earpiece broke off of the headset. I quite like these headphones and they were $80 so i set out to fix them myself. This seems like a pretty weak point for these headphones so i assume someone else has probably ran into this situation as well. Just use a razor blade to notch the headset plastic then cut the remaining plastic socket off of the headphone wire. this will fit in place and once screwed together it will be able to hold, but will be a bit wobbly. I recommend gluing the T shaped part into the headset before reassembly for a tighter less wobbly feel. Note the photos for correct placement. Print the piece as shown, square nub down on the print bed and longitudinally (Parallel to the bed). This increases vertical strength and rigidity while also reducing the amount of supports needed. Printing vertically will create a weak part and it will surely snap immediately at one of the layer lines.
