Description

Ten thousand years ago, the red planet was torn asunder. Forges turned against each other and priest fought against priest in a battle that would scar Mars even more. Eventually, the orthodox priests emerged victorious, but many of their corrupted brethren didn't die, but instead fled into the hellish realms of the Eye alongside their newfound allies. And here they remain until the present day, working furiously in their hellish manufactures, forging abomination after abomination to arm the traitors and mutants in their long war. Few of them even grieve about their defeat all those millennia ago, that forever banished them from Holy Mars. For only in the twisted and unstable reality of their exile are they able to truly display their sick creativity and mad genius, allowing them to blend the demonic and the mechanic into horrifying wonders that the adepts of Mars would never be able to recreate. Even the mutations, that may plague their own bodies after centuries of exposure to the hellish aura of the Eye, may be a welcome opportunity for their dark experiments, a new template to optimize their own form into new, terrifying constructs... So this was lot of fun to make. I might eventually revisit this and either add a few more Chaos ornaments or even make a non-mutant, fully-mechanical version, which might even pass for a loyalist, if you turn two blind eyes towards this technological heresy and instead think of all the cool tech your organization won't be getting, if you say anything against them.
