Swamp Plant sub-soil water tank

Swamp Plant sub-soil water tank

Description

I have no idea whether anyone will need that thing, because its use is quiet specific... I have a few [pinguicula](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pinguicula) plants (or butterworts according to wikipedia). They are carnivorous swamp plants (very usefull against fruit flies) and require constantly wet swamp soil to grow. Since they don’t root very deep, I planted them in cornflakes bowls, which means the surface area is relatively large and it also doesn’t allow for a lot of water storage… To solve this problem, I’ve designed this sub-soil water tank. Edit 01/21: I added an adaptor ("Wassertank_Fk_Verl_Stopfen") to the water inlet to increase its height, so that the plants don't cover up the opening. I also added a floating water indicator ("Zylinder_Schwimmer" + "Zylinder_Schwimmer_oben") to help in determining when the water tank is filled. Main features: - Water tank to be dug beneath the soil - Small slits in its sides allow for water to flow into the soil - A funnel on top allows for easy refilling - A cap prevents dirt from falling into the tank - I'd recommend to put gravel on the bottom of the bowl for easier water spreading Printing Options: - I tested it with PLA so far - Use __no__ supports on the inside; the "ceiling" is held by bridging
