Microscope

Microscope

Description

Simple, but useful microscope. Could be perfect as a gift for children, with low magnification (5x lens, 5x and 16x eyepieces), but also for adults who want to discover micro world (up to 40x lens). Parts list: - microscope lens (20mm standard, for 160mm tubes) - 5x to 40x, optimal for start would be 10x - microscope eyepiece (23.2mm standard) - 5x to 16x - two 6mm aluminium rods or tubes - two springs (inner diameter 6+) - two M4 20mm with nuts - two M4 30mm with nuts - looong M3 threaded rod with a nut, or two M3 screws 40-50mm - two wood screws ~3.5mm 15mm long Elements: - MBase - lower and upper part connected with 6mm rods - MTable - table; when used with 5x lens you need to make light hole bigger - MFocusScrew - yep, it's focus screw - MTop - body tube - MMag - body tube is shorter than standard 160mm, so you can add this element to eyepiece to make it longer and get higher magnification - MCap - dust cover for eyepiece - MM3connector - to connect two M3 screws if you have no threaded rod - MGSpring - spring to hold glass slide on table - M2Oly14_42_pan - a small ring to mount Olympus 14-42 pancake lens (at 42mm zoom) on any M3/4 camera - useful not only for photos but also to show big image on phone or tablet to audience (or grandparents with weak sight ;-) ) Edit: - MBaseUL_B.stl - replaces MBaseL_B.stl and MBaseU_B.stl as one part - to add stiffness when using 20x and 40x lenses (if you are desperate for such magnifications). - MTable_bigger_hole.stl - for lenses with magnification 5x or less, also for higher magnifications to play with light
