Camera Slider | No special bearing

Camera Slider | No special bearing

Description

I´ve tried many different sliders and construction by myself. This fourth version is (in my eyes) the one with the easiest and simultaneously smoothest bearing I´ve used so far. The basic idea is the combination of tubes in different diameters. All you need for this slider are these profiles: - d_a = 10 mm - d_a = 12 mm (d_i = 10 mm) and I´ve added an inner profile for stability reasons. Here you need a 15x15 Profile. To minimize friction, the arms of the carriage are supplemented with some furniture glides made out of fleece. To fix your camera or tripod head, you need a 1/4" or 3/8" screw. The plugs are optional, in case you want to add some nuts to fix the slider on tripods. Also optional, you can add motor and belt for an electric-powered slider. Happy printing!
