Minimal ender 3 hotbed cable anti-snag
Description
A minimal hook/clip that fits over the hotbed stepper and keeps the cable from snagging. If your ender 3 hotbed cable veers to the right and gets caught around the stepper motor, this will stop that. If the cable instead veers to the left, this will not help. If you're determined to use it in that case, you could detach the hotbed and flip it 360 degrees so that the cable does veer right. Of course you'd also need to re-level your table after that. Diminishing returns... I actually made this a year ago and kept forgetting to upload. ### Why Why did I not use one of the chain-style cable guides that already exist? I've seen far too many industrial-quality ones break, not to mention that printing a chain guide would take a fair amount of time and plastic. Another reason was that I wanted an excuse to design something. This is small, which made iteration quick. ### Install Hold horizontally, with the hook away from the printer. Align the pin with the shaft hole in the rear of the stepper and rotate 45 degrees. It should fit snugly, with the clips fitting over the protrusions on the rear motor housing. Slide the table to the rear and verify clearance with the upper clip.
