DPS5015 Case with AC input

DPS5015 Case with AC input

Description

This case holds a DPS5015 with a 36 volt AC to DC converter and a fan to cool everything. The rear plug is a standard C14 power plug with a fuse. Parts required: DPS5015 AC to DC converter (Search for DC2416 power supply. I used a 36 volt, but there are multiple with the same footprint) 40mm fan Voltage regulator for the fan C14 panel mount plug with fuse holder Round rocker switch (20mm hole) Power terminals (there's a 4 mm hole, but you can easily drill it to whatever size you need.) M3 bolts 5 or 6mm long M3 heat inserts M3 screws for plastic 5mm long M4 bolts to hold the fan Wire and connectors Assembly is a bit fiddly, mostly because of the small space to work with. You'll definitely need a stubby screwdriver. I printed out a screwdriver bit holder from here on Thingiverse and used that. The best order for assembly is: DPS main board on top, AC/DC converter on the side, fan and voltage regulator, front panel, and lastly the rear panel. If you get a fan that matches the output of your converter, you can skip the voltage regulator, but an adjustable voltage regulator lets you control the fan speed, so it's not so loud. The fan cover is a random one I found here on Thingiverse.
