Raspberry Pi Camera mount with Cable Holder
Description
After setting up Octoprint using Raspberry Pi, I bought a camera and started looking for a suitable mounting arrangement. After getting confused with so many options available, I finally decided to design my own considering factors such as ease of setting up, optimum amount of printing, space available in and around the printer, easy to assemble/dismantle while moving the printer. I took inspiration from this arrangement https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3217649 While it was fine for for eye level view of the bed, I further designed an extender to increase the height by 50 mm. This also gave the flexibility to move the camera bit forward if required based on the space available on the bed with regards to the printed object. It seems different RPi cameras have different dimensions. After trying with a few enclosures I decided to remix the one available here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:247590 I needed to adjust the the dimensions of the camera according to the one in hand and attached the mounting bracket behind. M3 size nuts and bolts can be used for putting the three together. The cable I got with camera was too short (15cm.) just enough to try out but not suitable for mounting. The next one I ordered was 1 metre long which turned out to be far too long. So designed the cable holder to be attached below the camera mount using double sided tape and effectively reduce the cable length by around 32 cm.
